The rapper has assured fans he’s doing well following the procedure, but admits the pain he’s experiencing is like being “shot” in the arm.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, “Had shoulder surgery yesterday-at home recovering-feels like Ive been shot in my arm & have to wear a sling but I’m ok! God is the Greatest!”

Combs, who is expected to speak at late rapper Heavy D’s funeral on Friday, has not revealed the reason for his operation.

Cameron Diaz has been spotted spending quality time with Sean “Diddy” Combs. But it’s because they’re looking to work together on a film project, says a rep.

Spies saw the pair “looking cozy” at Scarpetta in Beverly Hills on Friday. Observers were quick to assume romance, but Diaz’s rep told us: “[They] are longtime friends and have been seen together recently because they are developing a film project. They had lunch . . . with a producer who is also involved in the project. [They] are not romantically involved.” Diaz split in September with Alex Rodriguez; Combs has been linked with model/singer Cassie for the past few years.

The Boys & Girls Club of Harlem, an organization dedicated to youth development by providing access and opportunities for young people in their community regardless of economic, social and family circumstances, today announced a remarkable contribution from business magnate Sean Combs, founder of the entertainment conglomerate Bad Boy Entertainment Worldwide.

The donation will significantly impact the organization’s operations budget, which has been under tremendous pressure due to enormous shifts in federal, state and private funding.

The Boys & Girls Club of Harlem is part of a nationwide affiliation of local, autonomous organizations working to help young people of all backgrounds develop the qualities they need to become responsible citizens and leaders.

A hometown hero, Sean Combs grew up in Harlem and credits the historically artistic community for influencing his musical auteur. Over the years, he has continued to lend his support and has remained an active member of the community.

Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine has collaborated with Sean “Diddy” Combs to create a pop culture book called “Culisto,” based on the Italian word “culo,” meaning, politely, the posterior.

The coffee-table read features legendary photos of women’s backsides by fashion photographer Raphael Mazzucco. The book, due out Nov. 22, will appear on HBO’s “Entourage” tomorrow. The scene features Mazzucco photographing Adrian Grenier’s character, Vince.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ entourage was stopped by French customs for trying to bring too much of the music mogul’s beloved vodka into the country to lubricate his lavish St. Tropez parties.

Diddy’s staffers were caught by officers at Nice’s Cote d’Azur airport trying to bring a too-large stash of his Ciroc vodka in after they jetted in from the US late last week.

Combs’ rep confirmed last night that the staffers — who were ordered to make sure the booze was on hand for his appearances at several St. Tropez nightclubs last weekend — were forced to leave bottles behind with airport security. Diddy was not with them at the time.

A source said, “His entourage was stopped at customs for having too much of the product. So Diddy’s people left a few cases with airport agents.” Another source insisted they left half a dozen bottles behind.

While Ciroc is produced in France, it seems to be a scarce commodity and is not widely available on the Riviera. According to several sources, St. Tropez hot spots including VIP club and Gotha club had to fly in cases for Diddy’s appearances.

His staff nearly got into a sticky situation because French customs only allows each traveler to bring in 1 liter of spirits over 44 proof. His vodka is 80 proof and comes in 750 ml and 1.75 liter bottles.

Diddy is currently on a European party tour to promote the vodka brand, a duty which is a part of his $100 million marketing deal with the company. And he was so insistent on Ciroc being a part of the festivities, sources said he almost canceled an appearance at swanky Gotha in Cannes Friday night when he heard the venue was stocked with a rival vodka. But the club swapped it and Diddy appeared as promised.
When asked about the customs snafu, a Diddy rep said, “The bulk of what you have is true . . . Sean is hosting events throughout the French Riviera to promote the ultra-premium vodka.”

Even Sean “Diddy” Combs is bowing to the wild demands of yet-to-be signed, punk-rock- hip-hop supergroup Odd Future.

Music honchos including Roc Nation’s Jay- Z, SRC’s Steve Rifkind and Interscope’s Jimmy Iovine have been fighting to sign the band described as an “urban Sex Pistols.”

The anti-establishment band has been having some fun by asking the bigwigs to meet them on their turf — the Supreme skateboard shop in Fairfax, Calif.

Rifkind, who sources say is soon to make a formal offer, managed to get them to his office, but said frontman Tyler the Creator told him: “If you are serious about the meeting, I want Randy’s Donuts, swivel chairs and a megaphone.”

Diddy — who’s said to be “desperate to sign the group to prove that he’s onto something hot” — set up a meeting between Tyler and Justin Bieber after the band demanded he deliver the pint-size pop star.

A source said, “Tyler asked Diddy for access to Justin, so he pulled strings.” A rep for Odd Future said, “Tyler did meet with Justin, and Diddy helped make it happen.”

Diddy has been crowned the wealthiest artist in hip-hop, with a fortune of $475 million.

The ‘Hello Good Morning’ rapper beat Jay-Z who has an estimated wealth of $450 million – to claim the top spot in a list compiled by Forbes magazine.

The rapper and producer’s wealth is fuelled by his Sean John clothing brand, Bad Boy Worldwide record label and his vodka brand Ciroc – a joint venture with drinks brand Diageo â?? which generates his largest profit.

Diddy â?? who has humble roots – recently splashed out on his son, Justin, buying him a $250,000 limousine for becoming an Honours student, but insists none of his seven children are spoiled by wealth.

He said: “Justin has turned himself around so I wanted to treat him. Maybe he will use the car for special occasions like on a first date, but like all my kids, he prefers the simpler things than the expensive things. Simple tastes.”

Although Diddy has the most accumulated wealth, Jay-Z was the highest earning hip-hop star of 2010, making some $63 million â?? more than double the $30 million taken by Diddy.

Jay-Z’s accumulated wealth is from his 50 million album sales, tour revenue, 40/40 nightclub chain and a stake in the Basketball team New Jersey Nets.

Third on the list was producer Dr. Dre, with $125 million, although his net worth is expected to increase when he makes a comeback this year.

In joint fourth and fifth place are rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent, and Bryan Birdman’ Williams, the founder of hip-hop label Cash Money records, who are worth some $100 million each.

The rapper will perform his latest single Coming Home, mentor the show’s contestants and dress them in his Sean John designs on an episode due to air next month.

And he insists he can’t wait to spend some quality time with his former lover, who is wowing critics as a judge on the hit talent contest.

He says, “She’s just looking so good. You’ve got to give it to her for having twins and to be doing it how she’s doing it. I’m so proud of her.”

Combs is also a big fan of her judging skills, telling news show Access Hollywood, “The way she handled coming after (former Idol judge) Simon (Cowell)… she’s been, like, a compassionate person. She has made me cry, like, twice, and she’s looked good doing it. And she has made sense.

“She’s a nice person (and)… when you’re super nice, your emotions get the best of you. It’s good though, it’s good to see that change in the competitive shows. I think she’s very refreshing.”

Lopez broke down in tears on the show last week when she had to send a favourite contestant, Chris Medina, home.

The hip-hop mogul is to perform his latest single ‘Coming Home’ with his group Diddy-Dirty Money on the TV talent search show next month and will also style the aspiring singers through his Sean John clothing collection.
He said: “I’m helping the contestants with their styles. I’m helping to dress them with Sean John.

“I’m bringing a celebrity stylist to help us this week. We’re going try to get them to have that superstar shine and swagger that I try to exude on a daily basis.

“I’m going to hit ‘em with some musical tips, some inspiration, some motivation, and then I’m gonna show ‘em how to do it. I’m going to hit that stage after I show ‘em how to have that swagger.”

This season has seen both Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez – who Diddy dated for almost three years until 2001 – join the judging panel in place of Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres and the rapper is impressed with how well his former lover is doing on the show.

He told ‘Access Hollywood’: “First of all she’s just looking so good. You’ve got to give it to her for having twins and to be doing it how she’s doing it. I’m so proud of her.

“The way Jennifer handled coming in after Simon, and even myself from ‘Making the Band,’ and the way we were hard coaches – she’s been a compassionate person. She has made me cry, like, twice, and she’s looked good doing it. And she has made sense so, you know, I’m proud of her.
