Selena Gomez conjured five wins at the Teen Choice Awards.
The star of “Wizards of Waverly Place” was selected as choice TV actress, female hottie and music group with her band The Scene. The group also was awarded the choice single trophy for “Who Says” and love song for “Love You Like a Love Song,” which the 19-year-old actress-singer performed at Sunday’s ceremony at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Gibson Amphitheatre.
“This is for all of you guys,” Gomez told the screeching crowd. “This isn’t mine.”
Other early winners included Ellen DeGeneres as choice comedian, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene from “The Twilight Saga” as choice scene movie stealers and Ashton Kutcher as choice romantic comedy movie actor for “No Strings Attached.” Before leading the crowd in a sing-along of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” Kutcher provided the crowd with some topical advice.
“Don’t ever charge anything on a credit card if you don’t already have the money in the bank to pay for it,” he said.
Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am kicked off the fan-favorite ceremony, which honors celebrities in TV, film, music and sports. Others expected to sail away with surfboard-shaped trophies Sunday include multiple nominees like “The Vampire Diaries,” “Pretty Little Liars” and Taylor Swift, who will be honored with the Ultimate Choice Award.

The Disney actress – who has been dating the ‘Baby’ hitmaker since early this year – is said to have split from the 17-year-old singing sensation over concerns about his new-found bad boy pals.
In recent weeks, Justin has been hanging around with former child burglar turned rapper Sean Kingston, ex-convict Lil Wayne, and has collaborated on a new track with Chris Brown, who put his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in hospital after attacking her in 2009.
However, the final straw allegedly came when Justin brought Sean to one of the19-year-old singer’s concerts in Florida last week.
A friend of Selena said: “Selena told him to stop hanging with these bad people. She didn’t want him to crash her gig.
“They had a huge row and said it was good they were having time apart while she was on tour.”
However, Justin is said to have taken the split badly, and was spotted in tears after one of their arguments.
The pal added to The Sun newspaper: “It’s hard seeing a little 17-year-old crying and saying he loves her.”

Famed teen singer and actress Selena Gomez visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort with family and friends on Friday, July 29, stopping at the Hogwarts Express to meet the Conductor in Hogsmeade. Hosted by Universal Orlando, Gomez and her backup singers (from left to right) Ashley Cook, Lindsey Harper and Katelyn Clampett also sipped on Butterbeer in Hog’s Head pub, rode the Hungarian Horntail coaster on Dragon Challenge and spent the day enjoying Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure theme park. Gomez was in Orlando after kicking off her “We Own The Night” tour on July 28 in Boca Raton, Fla.

The 19-year-old singer-and-actress insists her relationship with the 17-year-old pop sensation is “all good” but has no plans to tie the knot yet as she feels too young.
When asked whether she will marry Justin one day, she replied: “No, I’m only 19!”
While Selena is comfortable dating one of the world’s biggest pop stars, she admits she was recently left “starstruck” when she met her idol, ‘Transformers’ actor Shia LaBeouf.
She told Reveal magazine: “I was so happy when I saw Shia. I was so starstruck. He probably thinks I’m crazy and I probably made a fool out of myself, but I love him. I have literally been obsessed with him since I was 15.
“Shia’s older than me, so I look up to him. I don’t want to marry him, though!”
Selena – who is currently on tour in the US and has recently landed a part in new film ‘Monte Carlo’ – admitted she sometimes has to have the weekend off to rest from her busy work schedule to stop her from “breaking down”.
She explained: “It is a lot sometimes. But I surround myself with really good people and my mum travels everywhere with me. If I do have moments where I want to break down, I ask to stop or have the weekend off and go home.”

Selena Gomez was hospitalized last night following her appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’. TMZ reported that the ‘Witches of Waverly Place’ star complained of nausea and severe headaches, and was taken straight to hospital after the show. The source of the illness, however, is still a mystery – she is currently undergoing tests at a hospital in Los Angeles. The 18-year old actress seemed to be in good spirits as she discussed her new film ‘Monte Carlo’ with Leno. She also opened up about her boyfriend Justin Beiber, when Leno asked her “Has your mom met Justin Bieber?” Gomez said yes, adding, “He passed the test.”
According to USA Today, the couple had enjoyed a recent trip to Hawaii and were in attendance at the NBA finals in Dallas earlier this week. Gomez had also watched Bieber pick up awards at the recent Billboard Awards ceremony. Bieber made his concern for his girlfriend public by reposting the hashtag #getwellselena on Twitter. A spokesperson for Gomez confirmed: ‘Last night after Selena’s appearance on The Tonight Show she wasn’t feeling well and was taken to the hospital. She is currently undergoing routine tests.’ The stars new film ‘Monte Carlo’, a romantic adventure also starring Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy, hits screens on 1st July.

After winning six gongs at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, it looks like Justin Bieber has decided he deserves a holiday.
The 17-year-old pop star was pictured heading to the beach yesterday after flying to Hawaii with girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Stripped to the waist, the Canadian star showed off his rock-hard stomach in a pair of bathing shorts teamed with flip flops and white sunglasses.
His girlfriend, meanwhile, was wearing a pink bikini top and Daisy Dukes, and was carrying a leopard print bag as she walked to the beach with Bieber.
Also on show was a new tattoo on Bieber’s torso in addition to one he got when he was 16 of a bird on his waistline.
Earlier the young couple were seen arriving in Maui hand in hand after taking a flight from Los Angeles LAX.
Bieber and Gomez, 18, went completely public with their romance at the Billboard Music Awards show in Las Vegas – sharing kisses and hugs in the audience.
