The 7-foot-1 Cleveland Cavalier is putting together the show featuring large pieces of contemporary art, including works by Maurizio Cattelan, Andreas Gursky and Ron Mueck’ssculpture of a naked, hairless giant called “Untitled (Big Man.)”

Talking about whoppers, author James Frey — whose memoir “A Million Little Pieces” was found to contain a few tall tales — is writing an essay for the exhibition catalog.

The show opens at the Flag Art Foundation on West 25th Street in February. Shaq told Bloomberg News curating was like playing basketball: “I have a responsibility to the artists, who are my ‘teammates.’ We all have to make each other look good — no different than what I do on the court.”

According to court papers, wife Va’shaundya “Shaunie” O’Neal filed for legal separation from the Cleveland Cavaliers player in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, TMZ.com reports.

She cites irreconcilable differences for the demise of her seven-year marriage to the 37-year-old athlete.

In addition to asking for an unspecified amount of money for spousal and child support, Shaunie is also seeking sole custody of the couple’s four minor children, ages 3 to 9, with visitation rights for O’Neal.

Though the couple lives in Florida, Shaunie claimed she’s a resident of California, which has more generous community-property divorce provisions.

According to People.com, Shaunie recently flew to Los Angeles and claimed herself a resident of The Golden State on Nov. 8, one day before filing the separation papers.

This is the second split for Shaunie and Shaq, who filed for originally filed for divorce in 2007.

The couple, who reportedly have a prenuptial agreement, eventually reconciled after a bitter dispute over whether or not he was hiding money from her.

NBA star Shaquille O’Neal is getting ready to multitask.

The four-time hoops champion, who joins the Cleveland Cavaliers next season, will star in Shaq Vs., an ABC reality series that pits him against top athletes in their own sports.

Filming begins Wednesday in Pittsburgh, where Shaq takes on Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in football. Future hour-long episodes will pit him against Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya, St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols, tennis pro Serena Williams and beach volleyball Olympians Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh.

O’Neal, 37, says he also hopes to book pal Lance Armstrong for a cycling competition once the Tour de France ends.

The series is set to premiere Aug. 18 and will air Tuesdays at 9 ET/PT.

The soccer star, who was fined $1,000 for confronting a group of fans during a recent game, won’t participate in the NBA star’s upcoming ABC show, “Shaq Vs.,” in which he competes against other pro athletes in their sports. “Michael Phelps, Serena Williams and Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger all signed on, but Beckham refused,” says a source. O’Neal even called Beckham out on Twitter, saying, “Official, today is david beckham is scared of shaq day, he should b scared, he can never score a goal on me.” Beckham couldn’t be reached.
