Soulja Boy is set to cash in on his clothing line after striking a $3 million distribution deal.

The Crank That hitmaker launched S.O.D. Clothing in 2008, but he has now secured a lucrative chance to have an item from the line featured in thousands of stores. The company which made the offer has yet to be revealed, but Soulja Boy admits he is overjoyed by the news.

In a tweet to fans on Wednesday, he writes, “just got great news they want to place 1 of my shirts in 600,000 stores thats 3 million dollars cash. i’m crying tears of joy.”

Soulja Boy’s Army-bashing situation is approaching DEFCON 1.

The U.S. military announced that it will boycott the rapper’s upcoming album if it contains the controversial song “Let’s Be Real,” TMZ is reporting.

“F–k the FBI and the army troops … fighting for what?” Soulja Boy raps in the song, which he first posted online last week.

Almost immediately after, the armed forces reacted strongly against the rapper and have installed a ban on his album in over 3,000 Army and Air Force Exchange Service stores.

The Exchange is set up by the United States Department of Defense to sell products, with the purpose of generating income for the United States Army and Air Force Morale.

The move was announced by LTC Thomas Shrader, who also said that the lyrics “are unacceptable and not the kind of thing we would want to market.”

That’s why Soulja Boy is scrambling to do all he can to express how sorry he is for the offensive rap.

He and his management team are doing everything they can to remove all traces of the song from the Internet, and further, are promising that the song will not be featured on the new album.

Soulja Boy first apologized on Tuesday, saying in a statement: “As an artist, I let my words get the best of me … I write this to give my sincerest apology to all members of the United States military services, as well as their families that were offended by my most recent lyrics.”

Debby Coda, a rep for Soulja Boy’s management, told TMZ that the song was hastily and foolishly posted online, but was never approved for the album.

In addition, Soulja Boy is doing more than just apologizing. He’s also offering to give free performances for the military and meet-and-greet sessions.

Rap star Soulja Boy is not buying a private plane, despite a report that he was shelling out $55 million for a tricked-out G5 jet, his spokesman said on Friday.

The celebrity website TMZ.com had reported the performer of such tracks as “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” and “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” bought the jet as a birthday present for himself. Soulja Boy turned 21 on Thursday.

“The elaborate rumors circulating about Soulja Boy purchasing a jet for his 21st birthday are grossly over exaggerated and are not true,” spokesman Greg Miller said in a statement.

Soulja Boy, whose given name is DeAndre Cortez Way, recently borrowed a billionaire’s private jet, but he has no immediate plans to buy one, said one source near the rapper.

The identity of the actual jet owner was not clear.

The Web savvy Soulja Boy first gained fame with online postings of his songs and his “Crank That” dance demonstration. He plans to celebrate his 21st birthday at a star-studded party in a Miami nightclub on Friday night.

Deion Jenkins, the 14-year-old half-brother of Soulja Boy, was killed in a car accident on Sunday in Charleston, Mississippi.

A representative for the 20-year-old rapper confirmed to Billboard.com that Jenkins was a passenger in the fatal accident, but could not confirm any other details on the crash.

Earlier on Monday Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Way, posted on Twitter, “at home crying my eyes out I can’t believe my Lil bro is gone… today is so not my day.. RIP lil brother love you always :( .”

Michael “Miami Mike” Sykes, the President of Soulja Boy’s Stacks on Deck Money Gang label, wrote that “the Flags are @ Half Staff @ the Offices of SODMG & PTE, R.I.P. to @Souljaboy little brother who passed-way in a auto crash last nite :-( .”

The tragic death came four months after Soulja Boy returned with his third LP, “The DeAndre Way,” which has sold 66,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The rapper released “1UP,” a free 20-track mixtape, online last Thursday.

The rapper’s breakthrough song, “Crank Dat (Soulja Boy),” was up for the best rap song Grammy in 2008, but lost to West’s party anthem, the T-Pain-assisted “Good Life.”

Soulja Boy says initially he “wasn’t really thinking about it” and was optimistic that he would “get it next year.”

Now, the 20-year-old says while recording his recently released third album, “The DeAndre Way,” he felt like “he should have got that Grammy.”

The new CD has a song titled “Grammy,” which features singer-songwriter Ester Dean. Soulja Boy hopes that after the Grammy committee hears the track, it will change its “perception.”

West has earned 14 Grammys; Soulja Boy has not been up for an award since “Crank Dat” was nominated.
