When Carrie Underwood released her song “Cowboy Casanova,” some wondered if it was a shot at her ex, Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo. Underwood sings, “He’s candy-coated misery/He’s the devil in disguise.”
But Underwood, who dated Romo in 2007 and complained, “He is about football,” tells Esquire she’s not writing any sad songs about him. She told the magazine, “No. I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong. I would never give him that much credit.”

As I watched today’s game it got me thinking, what is a fitting punishment for Romo’s interceptions? With all the pink on the field, I came up with this idea, let’s ask Tony Romo to donate $1,000 for each interception he throws during the month of October in honor of National Breast Cancer Month!
Tony Romo started out with 89 yards on 7-for-9 passing in the first quarter, but managed to go only 18-of-33 for 166 yards in the rest of the game with an interception and a fumble. That interception should have donated $1,000 for breast cancer research.
Romo has thrown 4 interceptions this year. That would be a total of $4,000 to charity for the month to-date. I think that is a reasonable donation for someone of his income status – I know the Susan B. Koman Foundation, which is based in Dallas, and the American Cancer Society would appreciate the donation – and we as fans would be taking notes on these interceptions and counting them closely.
Tony Romo, I’m issuing a challenge to you – donate $1,000 for every interception you throw in the month of October to breast cancer research – and if you’re man enough – accept my challenge for the entire year! Prove me wrong!

Tony Embarrassed By Jessica’s Drunken Ways
Romantic relations between Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo appear to be absolutely done and dusted, but according to insiders, the surprise break-up was largely a result of peer pressure from Romo’s pals and Jess’s love of adult beverages.
“Jessica would get really drunk and obnoxious, it was out of control. She would be sprawled everywhere with he head on his lap and the look on Tony’s face said it all,” an insider told Tarts. “He was so embarrassed in front of all the guys and his teammates were really harsh on him over it. Breaking up was a really hard decision for Tony to make.”
We’re also told that the Dallas Cowboy really did love the pop princess and “fought for her” with his skeptical friends, but in the end, it got to a point where it just didn’t make sense for him to stay in the relationship.
But in Simpson’s defense, a friend from her camp said that she doesn’t drink too much, and that there were numerous issues going on between them before Romo said his goodbyes.
“She was devastated and it did come as a shock, however,” added the source.
Speaking of shocks, Miss Simpson and her BFF/hair stylist Ken Paves were caught in the 6.6 earthquake that rocked Japan on Wednesday.
“We just had another earthquake and @kenpaves fell to the ground,” Jessica tweeted. “We couldn’t stop laughing. He flew out of his boots. SO funny!!”

Not only did Tony Romo dump Jessica Simpson the night before her 29th birthday, but the NFL star apparently brought another woman to Simpson’s Feb. 6 concert!
Natalie Smith, a 22-year-old dead ringer for Simpson, had reportedly been sending the Dallas Cowboy quarterback “flirty texts,” and the two were likely having an emotional affair, reports Us Weekly.
“They’ve always flirted and texted each other,” a source said. “They had phone conversations one to two months before the breakup.”
But it gets worse: After the concert, where Simpson gushed to the audience that Romo was “the man who loves me,” the 29-year-old athlete took the sexy Smith backstage and introduced her to Simpson.
Gasp!
“We hung out for, like, 10 to 15 minutes, backstage,” Smith said. “She was cool and nice.”
As for now, Romo and Smith, who would reportedly meet for dinners when the football stud was in town, are not officially dating, but “they are having an intimate relationship.”
