Tori Spelling is in Toronto to show off her bulging belly to her husband’s friends and family.
As first reported on canada.com/entertainment on Sept. 25, Spelling is expecting her first child with Canadian actor Dean McDermott, whom she married in May.
Spelling, 33, has not yet publicly confirmed that she is pregnant but sources report that she is “positively glowing.â€
The proud parents-to-be were spotted having lunch with friends on Monday at Dimmi Bar & Trattoria on Cumberland Street. “It seemed like they were breaking baby news to their friends,” said an eyewitness.
It will be her first child. McDermott already has an eight-year-old son, Jack, with ex-wife Mary-Jo Eustace. He and Eustace also adopted a baby named Lola just prior to their split.
At the Muchmusic Video Awards in June, Spelling told canada.com/entertainment she wants lots of kids.
“We want a McDermott hockey team,†she said.
“We started saying we want two. The week we met, we picked out our kids’ names. We wanted two, we wanted three – and then by the time we got engaged we wanted nine.â€
Spelling even took a not-so-subtle shot at McDermott’s ex-wife, who is 48.
“When you have a young wife, they can actually have more children because they start younger,†said Spelling. “I’m young and virile. I can handle it.â€
Spelling, who played Donna in the long-running drama Beverly Hills 90210, made headlines this year following the death of her father, famed producer Aaron Spelling. Some reports suggested she was virtually cut out of her father’s will by mom Candy, with whom she is embroiled in a public spat.
Spelling recently starred in a fictionalized version of her life called So NoTORIous. She is reportedly heading to Vancouver to play a gossip columnist in several episodes of Smallville.
Spelling, who was briefly married to struggling actor Charlie Shanian, fell in love with McDermott while the two were starring in the TV movie Mind Over Murder in Ottawa. This past summer they returned to Ottawa to film another TV movie, Housesitter.
McDermott, who was born and raised in Toronto, has appeared in a string of TV shows and movies — including recurring roles in Canadian series like Due South and Earth: Final Conflict.

We can certainly all hope and pray but now she’ll be toting this kid around everywhere she goes. Let’s hope the kid doesn’t have her eyes. They bug me. Pun intended LMAO
